Orthodontic Clinic
in N. Psychico
The project focused on the design of an orthodontic clinic, with the primary aim of creating a pleasant and comfortable environment for both staff and patients. Striving to transcend the conventional awkwardness of waiting areas and the clinical sterility of treatment rooms, the design combines cutting-edge aesthetics with functionality, adhering to strict specifications while accommodating a dense program.
Defined by simplicity and a futuristic laboratory aesthetic, the design seeks to deliver a unique spatial experience that maintains coherence and aligns with the existing building shell.
The program spans three levels - basement, ground floor, and first floor - while the ground floor’s direct interaction with the lush surrounding courtyard brings out the natural elements, influencing the overall design. The clinic occupies the ground floor and part of the first floor, with the two levels connected via the double-height waiting area. This central space serves as the intervention’s central point, establishing a fluid spatial flow between distinct functional zones.
