Areos Luxury Suites

Vothonas, Santorini 

The Areos Luxury Suites project, located in the traditional settlement of Vothonas in Santorini, represents a comprehensive example of contemporary architectural composition that draws its inspiration from Cycladic architectural tradition, reinterpreting it through modern construction techniques and design principles. The development of the three independent suites – Superior, Deluxe, and Junior – follows a strategic approach to integration within the local context, ensuring privacy, functionality, and spatial coherence.

The architectural concept is based on geometric clarity and the fluid transition between interior and exterior spaces, aiming to enhance the overall spatial experience and create a continuous architectural narrative. The design incorporates formal references to traditional cave dwellings, reinterpreted as contemporary architectural gestures adapted to the demands of a high-specification construction.
