House
in Argyroupoli
Two independent 1970's apartments were combined and reconfigured to meet modern lifestyle needs, creating an integrated and functional living environment. The new configuration, with a total surface area of 130 square metres, has been thoughtfully designed to allow all the spaces to be fully utilised on a daily basis, offering comfortable and practical living.
The ground floor apartment, built in 1970, had an independent semi-basement that was occasionally used. The new layout upgraded the space into a fully functional two-storey residence. The central element of the new design was the internal staircase, which was differentiated from the rest of the space in terms of both material and color. Made entirely of black metal, it contrasts with the wood and white colors that dominate the rest of the house.
This aesthetic approach gives a contemporary character and creates an attractive contrast, highlighting the innovative architectural design.
