Kimolos

An oasis of hospitality. 

During our initial visit to the Village of Kimolos, it was observed that the area surrounding the castle was characterized by the presence of traditional stone structures, which exhibited a distinctive ochre tint. During our initial winter visit, we encountered an accumulated wisdom of centuries in the deserted and mysterious alleys of the village, clearly evident in the architecture.

In a pristine natural landscape with a slope, rich relief and volcanic subsoil, a hotel was created, a settlement with an emphasis on the culture of the island and the preservation of its unadulterated beauty.

The complex was strategically positioned on a hilltop overlooking the neighboring islands of Kimolos, Polyaigos and Milos. The integration of volumes and the exploitation of slopes were carefully designed to offer a view of the sea, while also subtly referencing the castle of Kimolos.
