Living Moments

Santorini

It is a complex of 8 suites in Messaria Santorini. The core of the proposal is a modular arrangement that combines vaulted dwellings with units featuring interior lofts and roof terraces, creating the sense of a small settlement.

The buildings are developed on two levels, following the natural slope of the terrain, in a way that integrates them harmoniously into the island’s landscape, both morphologically and spatially. The interplay of volumes is highlighted through the use of a monochromatic earthy-toned plaster.

The vaulted structures draw references from local architecture, offering a contemporary interpretation of the traditional. In the outdoor areas, wooden pergolas define open-air activities, enhancing the continuity between interior and exterior spaces while providing additional shading. The privacy of each unit extends beyond the interior boundaries, with vertical walls creating a rhythm of steps, giving the ensemble a gently sculpted relief.
