More Meni

Kos

The hotel unit More Meni is located in the Tigaki seaside area of Kos Island and was created by combining two neighboring existing hotels; the first built in 2001 with a surface area of 2000 sq.m. and the second one built in 1996 with a surface area of 1400 sq.m.

The challenges of the design to merge the two hotels into a functional single and aesthetic modern complex were numerous. The two adjacent plots of the existing hotels are rectangular, particularly long, adjoining their narrow side, whereas on the opposite sides they remain tangential to the main and low-traffic roads respectively.

The first objective was to re-organize functions and movements in the area. This brings together the reception areas with the restaurant and the bar in the contact area with the main road.
