Casa Hostes

Milos

The project on the island of Milos represents a distinctive approach to architectural design, where nature, culture, and modernity converge. The primary goal of the design was to create a home that was fully integrated into the natural environment, respecting the island’s geological and cultural heritage. Every aspect of the design, from materials to form, was carefully chosen to blend seamlessly into the landscape while offering the family a unique and comfortable space to enjoy their vacations.

The materials used throughout the house were sourced directly from the surrounding environment. The stone used for the building’s exterior was excavated from the site itself, creating a direct connection between the house and the land. This not only minimizes the environmental impact but also enhances the sense of place, with the house feeling like a natural extension of the landscape.
