Chez Michel

The main idea behind the new “Chez Michel” on Panepistimiou Str. was to create an authentic French bistro in the heart of Athens. Located right across the famous Propylaia of the Acropolis, Chez Michel brings a Parisian essence in one of the city’s central neighborhoods.

Being named and styled after the original Chez Michel café in Kolonaki, this chic bistro has a timeless finesse and beauty. Both spaces share a unique interior design by featuring two identical yellow refectory tables as their signature decor pieces.

The bright purple façade of the exterior is both intriguing and welcoming. Inside the café, the eye-catching metal construction, which stretches across the wall behind the main bar, is evenly lighted to complement the rest of the interior and at the same time bring customers in touch with this place’s particular aesthetics. The stair and indoor balcony railing is embellished with colorful bits of stained glass that pairs with the retro black and white floor to resonate a strong vintage vibe.

At Chez Michel visitors and customers can enjoy an all day café-bar for their essential morning coffee or even be seduced for an after-work tasty, gourmet meal and a fine glass of wine.
