Villa in Marmara, Antiparos

Sustainable housing

in Marmara, Antiparos

It is a minimalist, seaside residence in Marmara Antiparos, overlooking Southwest Paros, designed by ISV architectural office. The aim of PAROSTEC, in collaboration with the designers of the project, was to create a landmark for the Cyclades, which will become a model design model for the sustainable development of modern holiday homes, but also for residential projects in Greece in general.

Of particular interest is the environmental sensitivity of the building's design and its green architecture, based on the international sustainability certification BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method). At the same time, the project will be certified at "Post Construction Stage" and aims to be ranked in the highest sustainability scales with an Excellent rating, with particular emphasis on the categories of the implementation of safety and hygiene measures on site, sustainability of construction products, sound insulation and energy and water consumption.

The focus of the design and construction was to find holistic answers in areas such as the health and well-being of residents, bioclimatic innovation, eco-materials, construction methods and pollution reduction. Issues that are at the heart of the times.
