The Sand Villas Crete 

A perfect, relaxing atmosphere

that takes you back in time, looking to the future.

How can you stand worthy next to the natural landscape, by intervening architecturally? How can you design another luxurious villa avoiding the banalities? These were the main issues that concerned us when undertaking the Sand Villas project. Their location is one of the area's best kept secrets.

In a privileged spot on a hill, with an unobstructed periscopic view of the sandy beach of Almyros and the coastline with the typical vegetation of the area, up to the blue volume of the sea, we undertook to study and deliver spaces worthy of the natural environment.

For an authentic boho experience adapted to Greek standards and inspired by the neighboring sandy beach, we used the earthy color palette and materials such as stone, pressed cement mortar in off-white tones and raw wood. The house unfolds on three levels. The lower one should be formed into an independent autonomous apartment with its private pool joining the horizon and the openings facing the view unobstructed.
