Utopia Blu Resort Kos 

A whole village in a modern Mediterranean-style approach. 

 
The architectural concept was inspired by its location, the creation of islands within the island of Kos. Located at Tigaki area, Utopia Blu, is the realization of the Drosos’ family vision to create a unique, yet unexpected destination. The plot, became a “white canvas” in order to establish not only an all-inclusive hotel, but a whole village in a modern Mediterranean -style approach. The plot’s size is 34.720 sqm and the total built area is 9.500 sqm. Twelve new and five existing buildings, includes 262 guestrooms surrounded by 10 public pools of 2.606 sqm and 28 private pool areas of 560 sqm. The hotel building program also is embraced by three restaurants, five bar areas, outdoor theater, kids club, sport facilities, shops and a small church, all blending with Mediterranean plantation and landscape.The geometric architectural volumes, stand out as “islands”, working in harmony with the organic shaped water elements in between, bringing a sense of serenity to the guests.
