Two Houses reshaping

in the Peloponnese

The Callisto Project is located in the Peloponnese, just a few meters from the sea, surrounded by orange groves, and enjoys panoramic views of the picturesque bay. It involves two old residences from the 1970s, which were separate properties and have now been united under the new owner into a single entity.

The project is an exercise in renovation possibilities, as the residences had to be preserved due to urban planning restrictions, leaving the only option to be a complete renovation. The new design was based on the needs of the owners, who split their time between Greece and England, for seasonal living and entertainment.

A clean aesthetic was chosen, reminiscent of the whitewashed Greek islands, and combined with natural materials such as wood, stone, and reed. The proximity to the sea suggested an open design with large openings that constantly frame the limitless view and unify the interior with the natural landscape.
