Bar Party Restaurant by DesignProject.gr - Evridiki Lekaki

DISH BAR Party Restaurant is located on the ground floor of a preserved building with a courtyard in the heart of Heraklion. The architectural design is conformed to the multifunctional character of this DISH BAR Party Restaurant which operates from early in the morning until very late in the night. DISH BAR Party Restaurant is located in Saint Titos. Both the inner part of the restaurant and the courtyard face the imposing church of Saint Titos, which undoubtedly has played an important role in determining the architectural design of the bar restaurant; its style is inspired by the Arabic elements of the church of Saint Titos, its windows, curves and arches. The metal arch, surrounding the two edges of the bar, is a clear reference to the outline of the church's tall windows. The bronze mirrors along with the windows reflect on the ceilings and the metal arch creating a harmonious coherence between outdoors and indoors. The illuminated front panel of the bar is designed to match the old cement-based tiles of the floor, while the oak wood surfaces and the Viennese wickerwork, seen on the walls and ceiling, create a sense of a modern shell. The choice of colours and materials especially when it comes to the illuminated marble of the bar, the red details on the lights as well as the velvet furniture, create a sense of a dramatic place while respecting the history of Church of Saint Titos.
