Office Building in Maroussi

Οur approach in the design intended to create a modern and high-standard office building, in a minimalistic form but with a strong urban presence and identity. The land plot’s specificity was a real challenge: A three-way corner land plot, while a three-floor building of another property is inserted in the center of the plot giving it a Π shape. We created a garden and a generous semi-sheltered space with a diagonal opening, to enable circulation from all sides and to showcase the entrance of the building.

We emphasized the green as a garden, as an entertainment and recreation area, as planted terraces, as a planted fifth view. We designed an L-shaped building, which surrounds on both sides the pre-existing three-storey building, creating a planted square/garden.

We created curved lines in thee two inner sides of the building to ‘soften’ the sides adjacent to the three-storey building that is being inserted. We designed horizontal architectural projections on all floors and on all sides, allowing for shading and placing vertical blinds where necessary.
